Bonds Going Higher!

Hello All:

As per my previous article on Stock Market Correction, the signals are showing that equities markets will probably be under pressure heading into February and NFP which is February 5th morning. There will be many important economic indicators published during the next 2 weeks but the signs are already there in my opinion that stock market will have a correction and USD & Bonds will continue higher. We've already heard that Yellen wants to fight off a weak Dollar. This cannot be supportive to the equities markets.

How do we trade that right now? Well, if we are bullish Bonds, we can buy futures but since this is a highly volatile trade, another way to do so is to trade the Eurodollar Futures Calendar Spreads. The trade that we are doing right now is the Dec 23/ Dec 24 bearspread in Eurodollars. Eurodollar spreads are normally inversely related to the Bonds markets.

The Eurodollar market represents deposits overseas of the U.S. Dollars and is singly the largest volume trading futures market in the world. For simplicity's sake, the only thing that you have to learn about it is that the spreads trade inversely to the direction of bonds/ financial markets. If you want to learn more about how we trade, please feel free contact me.

We are trading many of the main markets based on calendar spreads such as grains, livestock, softs, energies, even metals BUT ALSO take advantage of opportunities in going LONG or SHORT on outright futures when they present themselves.
